Storm Callum fells tree

Storm Callum felled a tree on Kingsway during Friday afternoon (12 October).
Fortunately, no injuries were reported and the tree was quickly removed.
Rochdale Borough Council’s director of neighbourhoods Mark Widdup said: “This tree was quickly moved from the road, thanks to the prompt action of our environmental services team.
“Normal traffic flows quickly resumed.”
