St Annes Academy GCSE and vocational results
Staff and students at St Anne's Academy in Middleton are pleased with their GCSE and vocational results.
Caroline Preece, Principal said: "We are pleased with the results and the children are pleased too.
“Our vocational results are good.
“In English and Maths our results have maintained the progress level we expected.
“Every child has got an English, Maths and a Science grade.
“We try to meet the needs of all our students here at St Anne’s, we have a broad range of students with a range of capabilities.”
Billy Joyce gained excellent results in Maths, English Literature and English Language he said: “I am going to the Army College in Harrogate. This is the best school ever, I joined in Year 8.
“The staff are great here and I loved doing maths.”
Taylor Moscouita also did really well in maths, science and photography, he said: “I am going to Bury College to do maths, chemistry and economics."
Jake Peary gained passes in chemistry and physics he said: “I am going to Bury College to study mathematical studies.
Both Taylor and Jake they ‘loved school and especially the sciences’.
Dan Glenister, Director of Arts said: “We are really pleased with the results for art and photography.
“43% of our students got 7+ in Art and design.
“And 58% of our photography students got 7+.”
