Over nine out of ten burglary investigations in Greater Manchester are closed without a suspect being identified, according to Home office figures.
Police close a case when a crime has been investigated "as far as reasonably possible".

- Theft of a bicycle 92.1%
- Criminal damage to a vehicle 83.2%
- Theft of a vehicle 80.2%
