Garage fire on Holstein Avenue

Holstein Avenue, Rochdale
A garage fire on Holstein Avenue, Rochdale on Friday was caused by a faulty electrical extension strip which set fire to paper in a plastic basket.
On arrival, firefighters isolated the electrics and used a hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire before carrying out a 'safe and well check' at the property.
