Hopwood Hall College Assistant Principal, Julia Heap, expressed her own satisfaction in coming top of the Greater Manchester colleges, she said: “I speak for everyone at the college when I say we are very proud of the survey’s findings.

"Our students are the focal point of everything we do and to know that they are leaving us with such a high level of satisfaction, that is a really positive result.

“The task now has to be to continue improving our college experience to give that 8% a better time than they feel they had.

“With the investment we are putting into facilities at both campuses this year, including a new state of the art 4g AstroTurf at the Middleton campus, I am confident we’ll be able to make significant inroads.”
