The teenager taken to hospital after a collision at Hopwood Hall College on Tuesday is in a stable condition having sustained an ear injury and minor pelvic fracture.

Emergency services responded quickly to the collision between a motorcyclist and the female student at the college’s Middleton campus and the young woman was taken by ambulance to Salford Royal Hospital before being transferred to a local hospital.
