There was a fire at the Spread Eagle Hotel pub, Rochdale town centre just after 3pm (Tuesday 6 December).
Fire and police were in attendance at the building, which ceased trading earlier this year, and has been boarded up.
This is not the first incident that fire fighters have attended at the disused pub this year. In June there was a fire at the rear of the building:
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue said: “We were called at 3.18pm to a fire on Cheetham Street, Rochdale. Two crews from Rochdale and one from Heywood are in attendance. The situation is still ongoing.”
