Women connected with thefts in Burnley and Chorley believed to be in Rochdale

Date published: 05 December 2016

Shopwatch members believe two women connected with thefts committed in Burnley and Chorley have been sighted in Rochdale.

As a result, Rochdale Town Centre Management is therefore urging shoppers to be aware and protect their belongings.

The duo have been connected with purse thefts in Chorley and the theft of £1,000 from a 57-year-old man in Burnley when he was waiting at a till in Home Bargains on Curzon Street on Thursday 24 November.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police confirmed the incidents are being treated as linked.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101.
