A cannabis warrant was executed at an address on Manchester Road, Castleton. 16 plants of various sizes were located within the property and a man was arrested for cultivating cannabis and received an adult caution.

David Turnbull (18/03/1983), from Rochdale, arrested on a prison recall.

A 39-year-old man in the Castleton area was charged and remanded in police custody for breaching his restraining order.

Ali Gohar (01/11/1994) was apprehended in Rochdale due to him being wanted by Cheshire Police for harassment related offence. He was handed over to escorts and transferred out.

Darren Henthorn (19/07/1970), local to Heywood, was charged with three counts of assault and breach of a Non-Molestation Order. He was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Stephen Kenny (23/05/1973), from Rochdale, was arrested on warrant and conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Zafar Hanif (09/12/1971), from Rochdale, has been charged with drink driving and bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 21 October.

Harvinder Singh (22/05/1981), from Rochdale, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and no insurance and bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 21 October.

A 37-year-old female has been arrested for serious assault.

Matthew Frangakis appeared at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates on Monday 19 September 2016 and was sentenced to three months imprisonment for theft offences in the Wardle and Littleborough area.

Dean Walsh (11/01/1980), from Rochdale, has been charged with kidnap and assault and bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 7 October.

Alexander Slater (29/05/1990), local to Heywood, has been charged with two counts of assault, driving without due care and attention and two counts of assaulting a constable in the execution of his/her duty. He was bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 7 October.

Steven Bellett (14/03/1989), local to Heywood, charged with harassment (put in fear of violence) was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Jody Lynam (09/02/1980), local to Heywood, has been charged with assault of a constable in the execution of his/her duty. She was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Darren Pilkington (20/01/1981), from Rochdale, has been charged with assault and harassment and bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 3 October.

Tomasz Dziedzic (23/12/1983), from Rochdale, has been charged with possession of controlled drugs (class B) with intent to supply, two counts of producing controlled drugs (class B) with intent to supply and bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 7 October.

Jason Greenhalgh (15/05/1988), from Rochdale, has been charged with assault of a constable in the execution of his/her duty and bailed to appear Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on 7 October.
