Mohammed Hussain Syeedy denies murder of Jalal Uddin

Mohammed Hussain Syeedy, of Ramsay Street, Rochdale, entered a plea of not guilty to the murder of Jalal Uddin.
Syeedy, 21, appeared at Manchester crown court via video-link from prison and also denied conspiring with others between 1 August 2015 and 19 February 2016 to murder Uddin.
Mr Uddin died after being found with a head injury on a children’s playground near South Street, Wardleworth.
A trial has been provisionally set for 31 August.
