Schoolboy to tee off in Wee Wonders golf grand final

A pupil from Whittaker Moss Primary School has qualified for the ‘Wee Wonders’ grand golfing final later this month.
Rochdale Golf Club junior member Jack Brandon will be taking part in the finals, which will take place at St Andrew's on 25 and 26 August.
Professional golfer Andrew Johnston congratulated the youngster on the achievement, saying: “Huge congrats mate. Keep up the good work.”
The Wee Wonders Open Golf Championships was founded in 1995, and has full national coverage for children aged five to 12.
