Christ Church, Healey

On Sunday 5 August at 10.00am Holy Communion will be led by The Rev. Andrew Howell followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall. There is no Sunday School during the school holidays.                                                                   

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Evelyn Storey, the longest serving member of this congregation. Her funeral will take place at this church at 10.45am Monday 6 August

Morning Prayer at Christ Church, Healey on Thursday and Friday is at 8-15 am.

Morning Prayer at All Saints Church is every Tuesday at 9.15am.

Pastoral Care - In the quiet prayer corner in church there is now an opportunity for your personal prayers to be left in the box provided. These prayers will be said at morning prayer that week. Please feel free to use this area and any of the items left on the tables. Pam or Ruth will always be available to listen and pray.

Forthcoming Events

Healey Singers - We have been invited to join the Thrum Hall Singers in a joint production of Daren Garfield’s Remembrance. The practise is on Saturday 11 August, from 10-30am – 3-30pm. We will break for lunch at the Oxford.

Craft & Coffee Morning - Friday 3 August 10.00am – 12noon. If you fancy a bit of company or a natter. If you like to chat and enjoy a variety of crafts on the go then pop in and join us. We would love to see you.

Prayers for the sick - Every month there will be a new list at the back of the church. If you would like us to pray this month (August) for someone please add their name to the list. Thank you.

Craft Fair - Thanks for all the help given at Saturdays Craft Fair. The amount raised will be given in notices.

Rydal Hall, 14-16 September - Would you please let Pam know asap of any dietary requirements. Final payments will be collected soon. The cost of Full Board is £85.50 pp per night. Deposits paid will be deducted.

Gardening - Can you help for a couple of hours during the week? We will leave a notice at back of church for you to add your name and a day that would suit you.

Rochdale Foodbank - Donations for the Foodbank required please. Long life Milk, Coffee, Sugar, Pasta, Packet Soups, Toothpaste & brushes. Toiletries.
