Get ready to duck and dive your way through obstacles including the Foam Bath, Twisty Tunnels, 6 Metre Drop Slide and Foam Maze by becoming a Springhill super hero. Are you super enough to take on the challenge?

Springhill Hospice is looking for local ‘heroes’ to take on a brand new, action-packed, inflatable, 5k sponsored assault course that’ll have you slipping and sliding your way to a fun, exciting and memorable day out with your family, friends and colleagues.

Sophie Ansley, Springhill Hospice Event and Corporate Fundraiser, said: “We are really excited to be a part of this brand-new event coming to Heaton Park when hundreds of our supporters will be taking on this thrilling challenge event.

“It’s sure to be a brilliant day out for all the family, at the same time as being a Springhill super hero and raising vital funds to care for patients from your local community at Springhill Hospice.”

KAPOW! takes place at Heaton Park on Sunday 7 October with the first wave from 11.00am.

The Early Bird registration is now open but only until Friday 27 July 2018.

Group registrations are six or more participants and any participant who is 16 or under must be accompanied by a paying adult and all participants must be a minimum height of 1.2 metres.

Other charities will be participating on the day, creating a feel-good festival feel around the park but the Hospice is looking to turn Heaton Park Springhill Green - fancy dress is optional but highly recommended.
