Live performance: The Man on the Moor – Touchstones Rochdale, 7.30pm – 8.30pm

As the police went public with a deceased man’s image, 40 different people reached out to claim ‘the man on the moor’ as their missing husband, father or brother. These people are ‘the left behind’ and this is is their story.

Norden Carnival – from Caldershaw School to Norden School, 1pm – 4pm

The theme for this year is ‘Magic Garden’. The procession leaves Caldershaw School at 1pm and goes up Edenfield Road through the village to the Bus Terminus and then returns turning down Shawfield Lane to finish at Norden School.

‘It’s a Knockout’ Challenge – Falinge Park, 11am – 4pm

The event entails 24 teams competing around a giant inflatable obstacle course, taking part in relays, team challenges and timed competitions.
