Heywood’s very own Calendar Girls

Date published: 13 October 2017

In an attempt to raise funds for Sandon House, Heywood, 12 female users of the centre and members of the committee have posed for a calendar in the style of the famous “Calendar Girls” film.

One of those who took part in the photo shoot, Miss November, Susan Coates said: “We decided that we wanted to do something a little different to raise both much needed funds and the fun side of life at Sandon House.

“The calendar shoot was a hoot; the girls were totally uninhibited and were natural glamour models.

“It is amazing what a group of Heywood women will do to get £5 off people.”

Susan added: "I would like to thank our photographer, Matthew Pennington, for his services and discretion, and Beverley Heyworth of Blue Rose Gifts who put the calendar together and arranged printing.”

The calendar was launched at Sandon House by Susan Coates and fellow model Heather Stott and is available from the centre and/or members of the committee at a price of £5 with all proceeds going to centre.

To purchase a copy call Sandon House: 01706 368181.
