Sue Ashcroft and Kevin Clancy, new tenants in one of eleven new two-bedroom flats completed recently in Kirkholt, say their health is much better since moving in.
Sue and Kevin said: “We were getting depressed where we were living before. Since moving into our new home here at Daventry Road our health has been tons better.”
The flats, designed for older people, provide quality purpose-built homes for over-55s in the area.
Clare Tostevin, RBH Director of Communities, said: “One of the nicest parts of my job is seeing how RBH investment makes a real difference for people in the area. It is heart-warming to see Sue and Kevin settled in and hear how happy they are with their new home.”
The completion of these homes is part of an RBH development plan for building new affordable and ‘rent to buy’ housing to meet local demand.
Designed by Triangle architects the flats have been built by contractor Tysons.
