Tom Palmer visits Kingsway Park High School

Date published: 16 May 2017

Tom Palmer, the popular children’s author, visited Kingsway Park High School recently where he spoke to over 600 students about his writing career and the people and events which have inspired him.

Over the past few months the students have been studying Tom’s latest book “Over the Line” which tells the true story of the formation of a Footballers Battalion during the First World War.

During the course of the day, students participated in an exciting reading quiz, penalty shoot-out competition and a question and answer session, gathering tips on how to improve their own writing skills.

The day was rounded off with a book signing by Tom Palmer.
