Oulder Hill Community School and Language College

Date published: 10 May 2017

Congratulations to the Year 9 Football Team who defeated Kingsway Park 6-3. The players were exceptional in a game with 100% commitment shown by players from both sides.

Oulder Hill’s goals were shared between Edson Daio, Maxx Wright and Tommy Coleman. Man of the Match was Mudassar Bashir who was a “rock” at centre half on his debut for the school team.

Well done to all those who took part: Joe Oldham, Maxx Wright, Mudassar Bashir, James Warburton, Connor Marrow, Mohammed Qaisar, Kyle Wilson, Edson Daio, Dion Parker-Minchin, Ethan Steel, Tommy Coleman and Fabio Azevedo.

Well done to the Year 7 Football Team who recently played their final match of the season, defeating Holy Family by three goals to two.

The boys played excellently again with two players, Mackenzie Davies and Jack Cowen, putting in extra special performances.

This result means the team have finished second in what was a very competitive division, and we hope to build on this season to finish top next year.

Well done to: Olly Mills, Jack Cowen, Frank Bennett, Taylor Crook, Jack Campbell, Harry Butterworth (C), Daniel Brine, Mackenzie Davies, Billy Haworth and Ben Kershaw.
