Daisi Daniels has been awarded the Jack Wilkinson Young Achiever Award at the Mayor of Whitworth’s Annual Celebration and Awards Evening at the Riverside (former Civic Hall) in Whitworth on Saturday (8 April).
Daisi’s mum, Fiona, said: “It was an excellent evening and she would like to say a big thank you for the award.”
Mayor Madeline De Souza presented the 14-year-old with the award on the same day she flew back to the UK following her championship victory at the U16 Delancey British Children’s Alpine Ski Championship in France.

Other finalists also nominated for the award were Ella Chadwick and Natasha Williams.
