Peter Andre joins forces with Wink Bingo to fight cancer

Date published: 27 July 2015

Peter Andre and Wink Bingo have joined forces to fight cancer.

The two are teaming up to raise money to help aid the improved early diagnosis of cancer and are asking the public to help them with their fight.

Following the loss of his brother Andrew in 2012 from kidney cancer, Peter has worked with Cancer Research UK to campaign for people to take part in Pete’s Champions Initiative, where everyone is encouraged to raise money in whatever way possible.

This has seen The Peter Andre Fund raise over £100,000 for Cancer Research UK, with money going towards ensuring early diagnosis for everyone suffering from cancer and to drastically improve the odds of survival.

Peter has also worked with the cancer charity to stress the importance of knowing your own body, and understanding and accepting when something doesn’t feel right.

Wink Bingo is now working in partnership with The Peter Andre Fund to create a series of bingo games for those that have hearts of gold. The games will be fun for everyone, and also contribute considerably to the Cancer Research UK cause.

Speaking about the partnership, Peter Andre said: “I’m thrilled to join forces with Wink Bingo’s lovely players who are known for their hearts of gold. Together, we can beat cancer sooner.”

A spokesperson for Wink Bingo said: “We’re so very excited to be joining forces with The Peter Andre Fund to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help us reach our goal of £50,000 and have tons of bingo fun whilst doing it.”

New games start from as low as 10p with contributions to Cancer Research UK reaching 30% each time.

The aim is to raise at least £50,000 through games and a further £10,000 via Facebook.

Peter has also agreed to meet some lucky fans so you could bag a jackpot prize and you might also get the chance to meet Peter up close and personal.
