World Beauty in the Rochdale Online Department Store

Date published: 21 October 2014

World Beauty, a Rochdale business selling discounted beauty products, is using the Rochdale Online Department Store to sell their products.

World Beauty is run by Keith Trinnaman and Paul Campbell and offers cosmetic products, beauty boxes and gift sets to the public at discounted prices.

Keith said: “I saw the department store and thought that it would be a good way to promote Rochdale and Rochdale businesses. The high street is pretty dire at the minute so I thought this would be a good way to support Rochdale and encourage people to shop local.”

World Beauty searches the world for the best deals on branded goods so shoppers can benefit from not only great products but superb prices and is offering users of the store a variety of products including lip gloss, foundation and mascara.

“At the minute I am trying to upload as much as possible but I am doing it so there is an even spread of things so we have lipsticks and nail varnishes and eyes shadows but we have a good split between them all,” added Keith.

World Beauty has been established for around 12 months and decided to venture into selling with Rochdale Online after selling on their own website.

Keith added: “The store is very easy to use and I am hoping to get more products on as soon as I can really. I also like the option of collecting from a local business because we can either post items out to customers or we can save them that little bit of extra money by using the drop off point at the Feel Good Café.”

World Beauty is one of 41 local retailers using the Rochdale Online Department Store selling their products and promoting Rochdale and its independent retailers.

“I would tell people to try using the department store because to support local businesses in the town,” said Keith.
