Free cyber security and health & safety event for employers

Date published: 20 April 2022

Rochdale Training is offering employers a unique opportunity to update their knowledge of both workplace Health & Safety legislation and Cyber Security with industry experts.

The free event is being held on Thursday 28 April from 8am - 10am at Rochdale Training's premises on Fishwick Street, Rochdale.

The North West Cyber Resilience Centre will discuss the current North West regional cybercrime trends and the devastating effect a cyber-attack can have on a small business.

With newspaper headlines of businesses facing cyber-attacks making the front pages, we want you to learn more about the online threats you can face as a business. Cyber security isn't just about technology and computers: it involves your staff, your processes, and the culture of your business.

Attendees will discuss

  • What security threats do businesses face?
  • What do they look like?
  • How can you combat them?
  • How to keep your staff educated on the latest cyber threats through security awareness training
  • Our newly released Cyber Incident Response Plan
