Exclusive deals and loyalty schemes are on hand for Rochdale town centre shoppers, with the multi-award-winning app LoyalFree.

Currently live in 65 towns and cities across the UK, LoyalFree is an innovative digital platform which showcases vital area information for locals and visitors including a local guide, exclusive deals and loyalty schemes, fun local events and interesting trails.

Businesses will benefit from advertising opportunities, customer insights and social media support and the dynamic app allows users to benefit from using just one app across the UK – so they can tap into the local area wherever they are!

Local businesses signed up include JD Gyms, Flying Horse Hotel, Superdrug, Café Grade Abeco, The Fragrance Shop, Vodafone, Butterworths, Reel Cinema, PuttStars and Crust Pizza.

LoyalFree’s digital trails are one-way app users can explore the town's history, hidden gems and best independents. There are some exciting trails live on the app including the Mural Trail, Blue Plaque Trail, Parks and Garden Walks, Hidden History Trail, Craft Ale Trail and the See and Do Trail.

The app is a partnership between LoyalFree and Rochdale Business Improvement District (BID), which is an independent not-for-profit business-led initiative working to improve the environment for businesses in the town to succeed.

Paul Ambrose, Rochdale BID Manager, said: ‘‘The LoyalFree app provides Rochdale Town Centre with a great digital platform to showcase all the amazing businesses here. There is so much on offer in the town and it’s amazing to be able to present that to locals and visitors through an app.’’
