The Rochdale Food and Drink Festival is well underway celebrating local food and drink venues with sensational offers, events and limited-time menus.
For 12 consecutive days, a wide variety of town centre venues are showcasing tempting food and drink offerings, an ideal reason to explore Rochdale’s lauded food and drink scene.
With over 20 restaurants, bars and cafés taking part in the 12-day festival, diners and drinkers alike can experience new, show-stopping venues throughout the town’s ever-flourishing vibrant food and drink community: bag a bargain lunch, catch up over cocktails, indulge in a wickedly sweet treat or enjoy dinner with friends.
Whet your appetite for something different with some of the exclusive deals and events taking place as part of the festival, including: kids eat free, a Thai night takeover, chances to win cash prizes, open mic nights and live comedy, and a masterclass in cocktails.
Laugh your socks off over a cocktail with six top comedians at Hoochi Koochi. A guaranteed evening of fun and laughter, let these quick-witted award-winning professionals help you forget the last year and remember a truly good night out.
Featuring the likes of Stephanie Laing, Gareth Richards, Tadiwa Mahlunge, Howard Walker, Tegan Marlow and Jon Capewell, this is a comedy set not to be missed, Friday 27 August.
Be quick; ticket numbers are limited – and you can even save a third of the price by mentioning Rochdale Online on the door.
In addition to its two for £10 cocktail offer, Hogarths is hosting a masterclass cocktail event on Wednesday 1 September from 3pm. Bring a friend and shake, stir and sip your way through your favourite tipple – you’ll be a master mixologist in no time. No booking required.
Find your new favourite local restaurant, support your old favourites – and discover another reason to love Rochdale town centre.
The Rochdale Food and Drink Festival, hosted by the Rochdale BID, takes place from Wednesday 25 August to Sunday 5 September.
