Dale Chief Exec Russ Green said: “We were encouraged by the response when we implemented ticket initiatives over the Christmas period. Tuesday night fixtures are notoriously not very well attended so we’ve targeted this game to see what sort of potential is out there.

“We’re looking at launching a season ticket initiative in the summer which would be quite attractive, and we want to know what actual potential there is for the possible sale of season tickets next season. This will give us a guideline as to how many people would like to come along if the price is right.

“With 15 league games left to play this season, we want the people of Rochdale to come and see what type of football we play here at the Crown Oil Arena.

“When the crowd supports the team, the team reacts, and that’s what we need now as we enter into a crucial part of the season.

“Supporters can help by getting behind the players, and we hope we can have a packed ground on Tuesday night to cheers us on to victory.”

If you have already purchased your ticket for the match, please contact the club's ticket office by calling 0844 826 1907 (option eight) to arrange a refund.
