A free gift for Dad at The Peacock Room

Date published: 10 June 2016

Fine dining restaurant The Peacock Room is offering dads a free gift when dining for Father’s Day, on Sunday 19 June.

The decadent dining restaurant, in Bamford, Rochdale, is offering Sunday lunch for £22.95 per head, with an option of steaks cut from its own butchery (extra charges apply).

Dave Broderick, head chef at The Peacock Room, said: “Our Sunday lunch is incredibly popular with diners, so we thought we’d throw in a surprise free gift for any dads that dine with us on Father’s Day.”

The Peacock Room has two AA rosettes making it the top-rated fine dining establishment in the area. The restaurant was originally awarded one AA rosette in 2008 and was upgraded to two AA rosettes in 2011, which have been retained every year since then. The Peacock Room also has a Michelin Knife and Fork award.

The art deco-style restaurant has glamorous interiors and boasts two enormous cruise ship crystal chandeliers in the dining area.

Crimble Hall was once the home of photographer and businessman Joseph Fenton. It was originally a cottage built in the 17th century but was re-built as a much grander abode by Joseph Fenton in 1814.
