Middlehurst ban reduced to four games

Date published: 25 April 2012

Hornets player Gary Middlehurst has had his initial six game ban reduced to four after he appeared before an RFL Disciplinary Committee Appeal hearing.

Middlehurst had been handed a six match ban for committing a Grade E intentional kick to the head offence during Hornet’s Co-operative Championship One fixture against North Wales Crusaders on 1 April, however, this was reduced to four matches by the panel following an appeal against the severity of the sentence.
