Date published: 21 January 2015

A new Costa Coffee branch will open close to the Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre entrance in early March.

Lorenzo O’Reilly, Rochdale Exchange Manager, said: “The arrival of a new branch of Costa is a terrific boost for the shopping centre and our shoppers.”

Ashleigh Nicholson, 27, who will be the new Costa manager, brings a wealth of experience of working for the company to her new role.

Richard Farnell, Leader of Rochdale Borough Council, said: “The arrival of another well-known national chain into the heart of the Rochdale is a further boost for the town centre.

“It will be a welcome addition to Rochdale’s food and drink offer and will bring more jobs and money into the local economy. This shows that investors are confident that Rochdale is well and truly on the rise and a place where they want to bring their business.”
