Victoria Reynard joins Walkers Transport

Victoria Reynard has joined Walkers Transport as group sales manager.

Previously area hire manager at Portakabin Hire in Leeds, she has worked in the industry since 1999 at companies including TNT and UK Mail. 

As part of her role she will recruit, train and develop the growing sales team in order to win new customers and retain existing customers to ensure revenue and retention targets are met. She will report directly to Walkers’ CEO, Richard Simpson.

Ms Reynard said: “As the customer is placed at the heart of everything Walkers do, I am confident that we have the values and ethos that will ensure that our goal to give the customers the very best service in the industry will be achieved.

“There is a real culture of empowerment and a huge desire to learn and grow throughout the entire business. It is great to be a in at the start of what is a significant growth initiative and the recent MBO just emphasises the ambition of the company. I am really looking forward to having the chance to play a key role in developing the sales strategy to make sure that Walkers ambitious plans are realised.

“There is lots to do, we have a number of key initiatives that we are working towards such as the implementation and development of a new CRM system and also the recruitment of some highly professional sales executives and account managers. The aim is to further integrate our customer service, sales and marketing functions so that we can streamline our efforts to give our prospects and customers the experience and service they deserve. We have lofty ambitions and the passion and intensity with which we are pursuing our goals is very exciting.”

Ms Reynard has an ISMM diploma in Sales and Marketing and ILM People Management qualification.
