Middleton’s XOXO Cocktail Lounge closes

The XOXO Cocktail Lounge in Middleton closed its doors on Thursday 30 November.
A representative for the bar, which opened in December 2016, said: “It is with great sadness that we have closed. I would like to thank all our customers for all their support and custom throughout the year; we have made some great friends who will stay in our hearts always from all of us.
“It has been a hard year, unfortunately, we could not give you want we wanted to, as everyone knows the struggle we have had with lots of different issues. We would have loved to have stayed but matters have been taken out of our hands.”
The business was part of a council project earlier this year to improve Middleton town centre conservation area:
