LGBT Health Walk
Do you want to meet other LGB&T people? Do you like to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air? If the answer is yes, then why not come and join the Lesbian & Gay Foundation on a health walk in the picturesque setting of Healey Dell.
Healey Dell, Rochdale, is a beauty wildlife sanctuary rich in industrial archaeology, two miles from Rochdale town centre on the way to Whitworth and Bacup.
The River Spodden has carved its way through the woodlands through thousands of years, creating delightful scenery and spectacular waterfalls.
We will be meeting at the Heritage Centre & Tea Rooms at 11.00am and will start the walk at 11:30am. The walk should last no-longer than 2 hours, after which we will return to the Tea Rooms for a well-deserved pot of tea and a cream cake, courtesy of the LGF.

The Great Bakery Competition
The NSPCC Littleborough District committee is calling on people to take part in ‘The Great Bakery Competition’ on Saturday 29 June and raise vital funds for to support children and young people.
There will be plenty of opportunity to show off your skills, with a choice of 12 baking classes for cakes and bread to enter into. Entrance fees for all classes are £1.00 per entry and entries must be delivered between 9am – 10:30am. Judging will take place between 10:30am – 12noon, with a prize giving at 2:30pm. Pick up a baking schedule from shops across Littleborough including George Kelsall Book Shop, Littleborough Coach House, 66 Church Street and Classy Cakes and get baking.
Throughout the day there will also be food stalls, face painting, tombola and raffle, NSPCC cake stall and a children’s cake decoration stall. The judging panel will also be on hand to answer your baking queries.
