Family Fun Day with Rochdale Childrens Moorland Home
Rochdale Childrens Moorland home and Royds Lodge 816 are hosting a family fun day with bouncy castle, BBQ, Pony Rides, fete stalls, face painting and many more.
This event is to raise money for the new barn that the home is having built this year.
Come down and join in the fun.
Entry Fee: Adults £2.00, Children £1.00, under 5s FREE

Norden Carnival
Established in 1977, Norden Carnival takes place every June and raises money for charity and good causes in Norden and Rochdale. The theme for Norden Carnival this year is 'My Favourite Story'.
The procession leaves Caldershaw School at 1pm and goes up Edenfield Road through the village to the Bus Terminus and then returns turning down Shawfield Lane to finish at Norden School.
At the school, there's always a selection of food and refreshments, fairground attractions, bouncy castles, craft stalls and other entertainment and activities until 4.30pm.

1940's Day @ Healey Dell
Starts 10am until 6pm - maybe later into the evening - Please check our website as we update event additions and times.
This is going to be a truly amazing day!
The Healey Dell Heritage Centre & Tea Rooms will be holding a 1940's day featuring LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: Maxine Jaeger - With her 1940's Housewife Re-enactment Show * Maria Manchester (Maria is of the UK's leading 40's Performing Artistes) * Wartime Vehicle Display * Wartime Medics Display * 40's Music * Outdoor BBQ * Outdoor Seating * Face Painting * Children's Activities * Plus SO MUCH MORE!
Arrive in 40's dress if you like - There will be many joining you if you do!
No entry fee but donations on the day invited.
This is a fundraising event for the centre - We want to install an outdoor children's play area with safe-soft-floor, slides, frames etc and we need a very secure lock-up shed to house the equipment.

Middleton Craft Market Official Opening
We are having a family fun day to celebrate the opening of our new Craft & Gift Market.
There's entertainment, demonstrations plus lots more. We will be showcasing unique, quality items all made by local people. It's amazing how much talent there is locally, come and have a look, it's free! You'll find something for everyone, certainly things you won't find in every other high-street shop.

Feel Good Festival 2013
The Rochdale Feel Good Festival will return on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August, promising another explosion of entertainment, food and culture!
The festival, which celebrates its 6th birthday this year is part funded by the council together with sponsorship from local businesses.
Rochdale Feel Good Festival will include live music across indoor venues and a main stage against the backdrop of the town hall. Celebrity chefs will host live cooking demonstrations throughout the event which will also include a food market. Previous acts have included the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Martha and the Vandellas, Badly Drawn Boy and The Lightning Seeds. Celebrity chefs have included Gino D’Acampo, Ainsley Harriott and Andrew Nutter.
