The Saline Fiddlers from Michigan, USA! A rare opportunity to see fantastic talent, high energy and musical panache.

An audience of all ages will revel in the irresistible energy of the Saline Fiddlers dazzling fiddling, lively dancing and singing to delight everyone. The excitement of their performance is contagious! They have been honoured to perform three times at The White House, The Kennedy Centre, The Presidents Inaugural Ball and most recently ‘America’s got Talent’.

The Jaywalkers from Healey & Helsby! Finalists in the BBC Young Folk awards 2009 & 3rd in the European Bluegrass Band Awards 2012! Creating a unique sound based on their collective and individual musical backgrounds, the band takes influence from folk, bluegrass, country and western swing music in the form of virtuosic instrumentals, three part harmony and occasional slap bass. Add good humour, tasteful arrangements and exceptional musicianship to the mix and they are guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

That's all Folk! Rochdale Music Services very own youth folk group. Currently 16 members age between 12 and 18 playing a mixture of dance tunes and songs. Lots of foot tapping going on! You’ll not be disappointed!

Ceol Tire from Rochdale After departing Rochdale Music Service for University, some of ‘That’s all Folk!’ members went on to form their own folk band, this is it! Amazing musicians, 2 of them now studying on the Folk Music degree course at Newcastle University. Playing a variety of tunes and songs from England, Ireland & Scotland!

Feel Good Festival 2013

The Rochdale Feel Good Festival will return on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 August, promising another explosion of entertainment, food and culture!

The festival, which celebrates its 6th birthday this year is part funded by the council together with sponsorship from local businesses.

Rochdale Feel Good Festival will include live music across indoor venues and a main stage against the backdrop of the town hall. Celebrity chefs will host live cooking demonstrations throughout the event.

Other attractions include street theatre, kids’ art and crafts in the Touchstones Rochdale Creativity Tent and Victorian toys and games. Don’t miss the Festival street market with a wide variety of stalls.

Previous acts have included the Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Martha and the Vandellas, Badly Drawn Boy and The Lightning Seeds. Celebrity chefs have included Gino D’Acampo, Ainsley Harriott and Andrew Nutter.
