Free Business Listing
All businesses in Rochdale are eligible for a listing in the Rochdale Online Business Directory. Display in the business directory is free.

£100 design fee will be charged for any artwork and inclusion of logos or images in an advert creation.
Button adverts are charged at 25% of display fee plus £50 design fee.
All cheques/standing orders/direct debits for advertising should be made payable to Rochdale Online and sent to Rochdale Online
If payment is by invoice, payment is required within 30 days of date of invoice. Interest at the rate of 5% per annum over the base rate for the time being of Lloyds TSB will be charged on overdue payments and payment of interest shall not prejudice the seller’s rights under any contract.
All order confirmations constitute a legally binding agreement which can only be cancelled by written notice within 7 days of signing. A cancellation fee of 30% of the total cost will be charged.
The Advertiser is responsible for supplying necessary copy and artwork to Rochdale Online . If all assets required for the production of the advertisement are not received within 30 days of order then Rochdale Online reserves the right to advertise only the name and address of the Advertiser and the full cost of the advertisement will still be charged.
Where finished artwork supplied by the Advertiser does not meet the Mechanical Data requirements detailed below, then Rochdale Online reserves the right to re-charge any additional production costs required. Wherever possible, the advertiser will be informed prior to publication.
Rochdale Online will make best endeavours to meet the Advertisers’ requirement for preferred positioning but retains the final decision on such positioning.
Rochdale Online does not accept liability for delays in publication and it is hereby agreed that delays in publication will not constitute a breach of contract.
No variation of these conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing by a Director or person designated by Rochdale Online .
No responsibility can be accepted for damage to, or loss of artwork or any other supplied material.
Rochdale Online reserves the right to refuse any advertisement which it deems to be unsuitable for publication and shall not be liable for failure of an advertisement to appear for any cause whatsoever.
All advertisements are accepted on the sole understanding that any descriptions relating to goods or services do not contravene the provisions of Trade Descriptions Act 1968.
The client indemnifies Rochdale Online in respect of any claims made against Rochdale Online arising from the development and the content of the advert.
Rochdale Online assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information or other documents on the client's web sites. In no event shall Rochdale Online be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, or any damages whatsoever including without limitation, those resulting from:
- Reliance on the materials presented
- Costs of replacement goods
- Loss of use, data, turnover, sales revenue or profits
- Delays or business interruptions
- Any theory of liability, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the web page/s whether or not Rochdale Online have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You are entirely responsible for the content of your advert. The following content may not be on any advert:
- Copyrighted material, unless the owner has granted consent.
- Unlawful content which violates any law, regulation, or order. This includes, but is not limited to: obscene or pornographic material; defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive statements; threatening, intimidating or harassing statements.
- Indecent or objectionable content including both pornographic and verbal obscenities which, even if lawful, Rochdale Online may, at its sole discretion, deem harmful to the Rochdale Online reputation and brand image.
- Warez links.
Links and any information regarding how to obtain access to the above will also be regarded as in violation of this condition.
You are responsible for any misuse, even if a friend, family member, guest or employee has committed the inappropriate activity. Therefore, you must take steps to ensure only authorised personnel gain access.
You agree to keep secure any ID and password provided by Rochdale Online .
Violation of any of these terms and conditions may result in the client's advert being removed without reimbursement and their listing on the Rochdale Online web site suspended.
You shall pay the charges (without any set off or deduction of any kind) on either a monthly or annual basis (subject to the agreed minimum contract term).
Only businesses within Rochdale are eligible for a listing, business profile or sponsored link type of advert. Should a business move out of Rochdale their listing, business profile or sponsored link will be removed. No refunds are given (minimum contract terms are enforced).
All amounts payable by you shall be exclusive of Value Added Tax ("VAT"), or any other applicable tax or duty, which shall be payable in addition to all such amounts due from you.
You agree that you will notify us as soon as possible of any change in your credit/debit card or bank account details. Should you terminate the service, it is your responsibility to terminate any standing order/direct debit with your bank.
We may increase the amount payable for the service at our discretion.
We may have to change the terms and conditions. Where this is necessary we will publish the amended terms and conditions on the Rochdale Online web site:
