An excellent opportunity to join the growing team at British Millerain. Established in 1880, British Millerain is a global leader in textile manufacturing, supplying many of the industry’s leading outerwear brands.
We are looking for a hands-on, motivated logistics administrator to join our team.
Role duties -
- Working alongside the Warehouse Supervisor to organise import/export of raw material and finished product around the world.
- Liaising with the sales office regarding customers orders,
- Distributing to the warehouse operatives to pick and pack -
- Booking transport – couriers (DHL, TNT, FEDEX) and road transport to collect goods for despatch to customers. Ensuring all paperwork is accurate.
- Using SAP to check stocks and stock location in the warehouse.
- Monitoring stock levels in the sample room and requesting top-up from the main warehouse stock as needed.
- Managing webshop customers via the shop@ inbox, and processing orders received via the webshop.
Requirements -
- A minimum of 2 years office administration experience.
- Experience working in import/export or logistics would be highly beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- A high attention to detail is crucial in this role.
- Proficient user of Microsoft office (including Excel).
- You must be a team player.
- Experience with SAP stock system advantageous but not essential.
